
Although she had a big interruption, Rita Malheiro has been a student ever since she was a 6-year-old. She took a break from school at the age of 17 and started working, one job after another – from kitchen helper to secretary, to clothing store employee. Anything counted. After getting her independence, the desire of expanding her knowledge in higher education was bigger than before and, at 24 years old, she decided to attempt to get into university and she proudly made it.
Born and raised in Oporto, Rita has travelled the world and her desire to know more keeps her moving.

Born and raised in Amarante, Pedro Teixeira is a 19-year-old who is currently studying Línguas e Culturas Estrangeiras, which is an area that he has always been interested in, at Escola Superior de Educação. Apart from that, he also has some experience working at a coffee shop.
Although he hasn’t been able to do so yet, Pedro hopes to one day travel the world and experience different cultures.
Music is another thing that he is very passionate about and always on the lookout for.

Sílvia Leal became a student in 2003 when she was 6 years old. During her first four years of school she attended Escola do Calvário Nº 1 in Vilela. Then, for the 5th grade, Sílvia switched to another school where she studied for only two years so that she could go to a school near her home. She transferred from Escola Básica 2/3 de Cristelo to Escola Básica e Secundária de Vilela.
After finishing high school in 2015, she decided to take a break from her studies and started working. In 2016, she got into college and her will had strongly increased.

Soraia Carvalho started her academic life in 2004 when she was 6. Since then, she continued her studying life until she was nine at Escola Primária Santiago da Cruz. From 2009 to 2013, she attended Escola Cooperativa Vale São Cosme, where she completed middle school. Soraia finished high school in 2016 at Escola Secundária Camilo Castelo Branco. In the same year she enrolled in a higher education institution.
Nowadays she also studies English at the Wall Street English Institute. This way, she can improve her skills and overcome her difficulties, since she didn’t learn English at school for four years.
